Building Typology

1. Which building typology you are researching?
Theater
2. Why are you researching this building typology?
Because I really enjoy music with theater music, the surround sound and experience itself
3. What is the specialty of this building type you would like to research?
The sound that echoes from the Hudson River to the waterfront
Have a large theater that spans across different levels
4. What are the examples that you will be researching?
Examples include;

5. What are your goals for working with this building type?
-Create a space that defines what it is to use your sense of hearing
-Have the sound being heard all around the theater
-Create a space outside that is both relaxed and calm through sound
6. What are the program elements that you see included at this point in your building?
theater concert hall, 
ticket booth, 
entrance, 
bathrooms, 
theater reception, 
bar, 
lounge,
outside lounge (somewhere on the top)
shop, 
staff office
storage space (most likely in the basement level)
back space (for instruments, set equipment)
